Ehime University E.U. Regional Commons (Hime Terrace)

Ehime University’s E.U. Regional Commons is a place where local stakeholders and Ehime University students, faculty, and staff can gather freely, share the direction of value creation through new encounters and communication, disseminate Ehime University’s intellectual property to the local community, and contribute to building a sustainable regional society. Ehime University’s intellectual property is disseminated to the local community, and the facility has been developed as a place to solve specific local issues and contribute to the building of a sustainable local society.
Facility Overview
Due to electricity conservation, the regular opening hours of the 1st floor Regional Square have been changed to 8:30-19:00.
Available until 21:00 for private use.

Terms of Use and User Guide
◆Precautions
(1) You must comply with the Ehime University E.U. Regional Commons Rules of Use and this User’s Guide.
(2) The following prohibitions must be observed at the facility
(1) Prohibition of the use of fire
(2) Smoking is prohibited in the facility (April 1, 2020 – no smoking on campus).
(3) Prohibition of eating and drinking (including bringing in paper cups, etc.) except in authorized places and at authorized times.
1) Community Square 11:30-13:30 Food and drink allowed *Take your garbage home with you.
(2) In principle, food and beverages are not permitted in the Media Front, Regional Sustainability Space, and Multipurpose Room.
However, if the beverage container is made of a material that is not easily damaged, can be sealed with a lid, and will not spill its contents if it is knocked over, it is acceptable.
(4) Posters and other posters on walls, etc. without permission are prohibited.
(3) Umbrellas and other rain gear must not be brought into the facility, but must be left in designated areas.
(4) Garbage must be taken away by each participant.
(5) The user shall strictly observe the hours of use applied for, and shall remove and clean up the items brought in by the user after use.
(6) The user shall restore the facilities and equipment used to their condition prior to use.
(7) Data, etc. created at the media front must be taken home by each participant, and data remaining on PCs, etc. may be deleted by the department in charge (Public Relations Division).
(8) Transportation from off-campus should be by public transportation, etc.
(9) Follow the instructions of the staff of the department in charge (Public Relations Division).
(10) In the event of an emergency, promptly contact the following personnel.

(2) After hours (including Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and other closed days) Security Guard Room [089-927-9140].

E.U. Virtual Commons (E.U.V.C)
In this facility, Virtual Commons (E.U.V.C.) is constructed as a space that breaks down psychological, spatial, and temporal barriers through DX from real space to VR (Virtual Reality) space. E.U.V.C is equipped with functions that are not available in the E.U. Regional Commons as a real space, and we hope you will take advantage of it.

Donor nameplates of donors who have contributed a certain amount or more to the Ehime University Foundation are located on the south wall of the first floor elevator hall.
