The degree ceremony for The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University was held at the Faculty of Agriculture on Tuesday, 16 September 2025. Among those present were the deans and heads of departments of Ehime University, Kagawa University, and Kochi University.
At the ceremony, doctoral degrees were conferred on 8 students, including 7 international students (Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Nepal).
After the degree certificates and commemorative medals were presented, the dean of The United Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, Ehime University, SUGAHARA Takuya, addressed the graduates:
“By conducting PhD study, you enhanced your abilities and insights as scientific researcher and achieved meaningful results. The degree you have in hand today is proof of that. I offer my wholehearted praise for your efforts.”
The ceremony was held on a day of bright sunshine and a clear blue sky, providing a fitting backdrop for the graduates’ new beginning.
Family members and current students were also present, and the ceremony proceeded in a warm and cheerful atmosphere, filled with applause and smiles.
The graduates, with radiant expressions as they posed for commemorative photos, seemed full of hope as they prepared to take flight along their future paths. We sincerely wish all our graduates continued success and fulfillment in the years ahead.
